Own the frame.
Portfolio sessions are where I get to play with light and atmosphere. Bring an idea, a character or a mood, and we’ll build a set of images around it.
A good portfolio shows range, so we’ll usually plan two or three looks and locations within a session. Some people arrive with a full concept and a bag of outfits, others just know they want something with a bit of drama. Either is fine. We’ll talk it through beforehand so the day itself is simple.
I direct as much or as little as you need. If you’ve never done this before, I’ll walk you through it frame by frame. If you have, I’ll get out of your way and concentrate on the light.
Sessions can be studio-based or on location, day or night, in Hampshire, London and across the UK.

Where are you based, and how far will you travel?
I’m based in Hampshire and work regularly across London and the South. I’m happy to travel anywhere in the UK and I’m available for weddings and events overseas. Any travel is simply discussed when we plan your booking.
How quickly will you reply to my enquiry?
I aim to reply within 24 hours. If it’s urgent, WhatsApp is the quickest way to reach me.
We’re not very comfortable in front of a camera. Is that a problem?
Not at all, and you’re in the majority. My whole approach is built around helping you relax and forget the camera is there. Most of the photographs you’ll love are the candid ones, and for the posed ones I’ll guide you gently through everything.

I’ll come back to you within 24 hours to get the ball rolling. We’ll talk through what you have in mind, the date and the details, and I’ll confirm everything in writing before it’s booked.
