I’m William.
I’m a Hampshire-based photographer and filmmaker working across London, the UK and wherever a good story takes me.
I’ve always been drawn to the moments that happen naturally: the laugh that wasn’t planned, the expression nobody else noticed, the few seconds between the photographs people expect.
My approach is relaxed and uncomplicated. I want the people in front of my camera to feel comfortable enough to forget it’s there.

Film is shot the same way I photograph: quietly, without staging, with an eye for what’s really happening. Book it alongside photography and the same relaxed presence runs through everything you receive.

The photographs you’ll love most are the ones nobody posed for. I watch, wait and stay out of the way so the real moments have room to happen.
Comfortable, not composed
Most people feel a bit awkward in front of a camera. My job is to make that disappear, with a relaxed pace, simple direction and a few laughs.

Stills and motion are shot with the same eye and the same calm presence, so everything you receive feels like it belongs together.
